Time to introduce Denise
Meet Denise, the down-to-earth yogi who makes you feel refreshed after even the physically most challenging classes. Denise teaches different classes at the Tribe, ranging from hatha flow yoga to yoga for stress relief.
A short introduction by Denise herself:
Hi, I’m Denise and I’m crazy excited about yoga. Why? Because yoga has it all! It makes me strong, enables me to check in with my physical and mental state, increases my self-awareness and resilience against stress, and above all: it altered my perspective on life. Less focused on productivity and comparing, and more focused on being content with what I have and connecting with the people around me.
I’ve been practicing yoga my whole life, but only started a serious practice in 2018. Last winter, I went to India for my hatha yoga teacher training and since May, I’ve been running the Love at First Tribe. This summer, I’ve been following a course on yoga for stress relief, and this winter, I’ll return to India for the next 300hr hatha/ ashtanga training.
What I love the most about teaching yoga is the profound effect it has on the mental state of my students. Most of them arrive in a hurry, a bit stressed or occupied with other things. Throughout the class, they start to settle into their bodies and let go of their thoughts. Their relaxed state results in the most open and welcoming conversations over a cup of tea after class.
I’m looking forward to the coming months. To develop myself as a teacher and grow the Tribe into a community of like-minded people. Hope to see you soon on the mat!🙏
